4. Don't let the children use the office room as a playroom, or play on your computer. They should have a separate area and their own computer so that you don't lose important work or data.
5. Plan mealtime preparation to be less distracting from your work. Look for easy preparation, oven preparations or crock-pot preparations that don't require you to spend too much time in the kitchen, especially if you are a work at home freelancer that is paid on production. You can still make nice meals and be there to take them out of the oven, turn them on low, or whatever you need to do.
